I started my professional career in 1989 managing the data center at the Rochester Institute of Technology.  I then moved on to management roles at Eastman Kodak, Frontier Communications, and Global Crossing, eventually founding or co-founding three companies: Bitnetix, SmartVox, and EverWatch.  I’ve been a national speaker, business plan judge, mentor, and blogger for the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle business section.  I live near Rochester, NY with my long-time girlfriend, two and a half cats, and a handful of Raspberry PIs.
